The young 14 year old student of Swedru School of Business who has become an overnight sensation has plans to school abroad.
Ebenezer Mensah caught the eye of the public after photos of his jaw eye popping height made the rounds on social media platforms.
Rumours circulated about the actual height of the lanky first year student at the high school in Ghana’s Central Region.
Basketballghana.com gathers Mensah has been measured at 7 feet and has generated a lot of interest from tertiary institutions located in Europe and North America.
Mensah has not hid his ambitions of playing basketball in a foreign nation either especially the United States which boasts the world’s greatest high school, university and professional basketball leagues.
His height makes him a star prospect for teams in need of size on both ends of the court. Several legendary figures in basketball from Africa have a similar stature like Hakeem Olajuwon and Dikembe Mutombo.
Just like his son, Ebenezer’s mother supports the idea of a move away from home.
