Austin Spurs have recorded its second win of the season with a 114-97 win over Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA Gatorade League.
The win comes on the back of a two game losing run by the defending league champions who had Ghanaian Center Amida Brimah fail to score in double figures for the second time this season.
Brimah has had a good run on offense this season scoring 20 and 14 points in previous games but could only manage two points in the win.
Amida converted one of three attempts from the field in 17 minutes off the bench as he battled Vipers 7 foot 3 Center Zhou Qi.
The 6 foot 11 inch player added two blocks, two assists and six rebounds to his production in the win for Spurs as teammates Jeff Ledbetter and Jaron Blossomgame led the game in scoring with 26 points.
Angel Rodriguez scored 24 points and Qi and Danuel House added 16 points respectively. The teams face off on Thursday evening.
