Austin Spurs will be in action later tonight as it prepares to take on Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the first of a double header against the rival side.

Spurs will be hoping to avoid defeat in the game which would be the team’s second loss in as many games played this season.

The 2018-2018 G-League Champions have endured a poor start to the campaign losing both games against Texas Legends and Memphis Hustle.

On the other hand, Ghana Center Amida Brimah has been in fine form since the league commenced posting double digits in both games.

Brimah scored 20 points in the 88-99 win over Arizona in the season opener before scoring 14 points in the huge 86-132 loss to Memphis.

The former University of Connecticut Captain is on a mission to land an NBA roster and has made a terrific start to back it up.

The second matchup between Austin and Vipers takes place on Friday, November 16.
