Ghana Center Amida Brimah scored 14 points in Austin Spurs second straight loss in the 2018-2019 NBA Gatorade League season.
The defending champions have started out poorly this season losing 88-99 to Northern Arizona Suns in the opening game where Brimah scored 20 points.
In its second game, Spurs lost 86-132 to Memphis Hustle as the Ghanaian international registered his second double digit mark this season.
Brimah added six rebounds, an assist and four blocks in 31 minutes off the bench; the 6 foot 11 inch player’s block tally was the game’s top mark.
Amida was Spurs joint leading scorer in the game with Small Forward Jaron Blossomgame who had six rebounds and three assists.
Memphis Point Guard Jevon Carter led the game in scoring with 19 points and four steals to the big win over last season’s champions.
Spurs take on rival Rio Grande Valley Vipers later tonight as it attempts to prevent a third straight loss. Brimah is a former University of Connecticut Captain.
