The list of competing teams in this year’s Tema Community Basketball League is complete following the conclusion of the semifinals this past weekend at the Tema Community 4 Court.
Nungua Coldstore will battle Tema Heat for the 2018 League title in the best of a three game series beginning Sunday, November 18.
Coldstore closed its series with Tema Community 2 with a 53-46 win in Game 2 to complete the sweep after beating C2 76-65 in Game One.
The same outcome happened in the Tema Heat-Francophone Stars series in the second semifinal matchup as Heat clinched a 62-57 win to progress.
Heat’s five point win in the contest played out in a similar way to its 53-51 win over Francophone Stars in Game One a week ago.
Heat’s final appearance is its first while Coldstore is set to feature in its second finals in three years tying Ashaiman Lions record of finals appearance.
Coldstore won the title in 2016 but failed to defend the title as Tema Community 4 stunned the division with a shock win over Lions.
