Galaxy (blue) dominated Rangers in the second half.

Tudu Galaxy is the first side to score 100 points in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II season notching the big mark in a win over Teshie Rangers.

Galaxy set the mark in a 101-56 win over Rangers in Week 3 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu over this past weekend.

The win was also Galaxy’s first of the season after recording losses in two previous games in the league; Tudu lost 49-53 to league leaders Adabraka CYO in Week 2.

Galaxy capitalized on Rangers undermanned roster for the big win as the Teshie side had just five players available for selection.

Matters got worse for Rangers as the team lost three players in the final quarter leaving just two players including leader Wisdom Tsorgali on the court in the last minutes of the game.

Without substitutes, Rangers started to fade away in the third quarter prior to the melt down in the last quarter. Galaxy plays Junior Reformers and Rangers take on Dunk Knights in Week 4 on November 11.
