Adabraka CYO is officially the only side in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II yet to lose a game.
Following Junior Reformers 67-89 loss to Ada Knights earlier in the round, CYO ended the winning run of Dunk Knights courtesy a 72-60 win over Dunk to remain the only side with a flawless record.
The game was played at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu earlier tonight in the final fixtures in Week 3 of the young campaign.
The entertaining game between the best ranked team and third ranked Dunk had quite a number of highlight plays but CYO’s pick and roll was a huge reason behind its win coupled with its bigger size.
CYO got a slim 15-14 lead over Dunk at the end of a first quarter both teams traded leads and led 34-30 at the end of the first half but its lead grew to 14 points (53-39) at the end of the third quarter.
CYO scored multiple points on fastbreaks to clinch the win and end Dunk’s winning streak in the process.
