GSP Basketball League Management is taking its time to finalize the outcome of the next line of action for postponed game between LIR Royals and Sunyani Technical University (STU) according to Public Relations Officer Daniel Addo.
The game was forced to end abruptly in the fourth quarter when heavy rains disrupted proceedings at the Eusbett Court in the opening week of the 2018-2019 season.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com, Addo highlighted the league’s top hierarchy making contacts with all bodies involved before taking a decision.
“The management and clubs are taking a decision to play again during the end of the first round games” he said.
At the time of the cancellation, Royals held a 36-20 lead over STU with Royals Evans Henneh registering eight points and two assists.
Both teams will be in action on Saturday, November 3 for Week 2 games where STU plays Catholic University College, Ghana (CUCG) Saints at STU’s Court at 7:00 AM.
Royals play West Siders in the final game at the Eusbett Court at 17:30 GMT.
