He made the statement in an interview on basketball program “Courtside” which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports prior to C2’s game against Coldstore this weekend.
Community 2 takes on Coldstore in the first of two semifinal games on Sunday, November 4 at the Tema Community 4 Court at 16:30 GMT.
Francophone Stars play Tema Heat who won last season’s bronze medal; Francophone is a league debutant this season.
Ahead of the big game against 2016 League Champions Coldstore, Owusu minced no words in his description of Coldstore.
“Nungua Coldstore, arguably, is the best team in the league yes I must say they had a 17 to 1 record in the regular season”.
Coldstore made the playoffs as the number one seed on the back of winning 17 of 18 games with its sole loss coming in a matchup against Francophone Stars.
