Bentil warming up before tipoff
Ghana Forward Ben Bentil scored 15 points in Peristeri GS fourth win of the season in the 2018-2019 Greek A1 Basketball League.

The win keeps Peristeri’s unbeaten run intact and moves them to the summit of the 14 team standings ahead of Panathinaikos and Olympiakos who have played and won three games respectively.

Small Forward Bentil came off the bench to star in Persiteri’s 87-56 win over Kymis over the weekend as his strong start in Greece continues.

The former Boston Celtics draftee added six rebounds and block to his production in 18 minutes off the bench for Peristeri.

The 6 foot 7 inch player converted three of five field goal attempts, one of two three point shots and six of eight free throw attempts.

His tally was third in the game behind teammates Ryan Harrow’s 20 points from the Point Guard position and Gray Steven’s 18 points production.

Peristeri’s next game is against Ifestos on Saturday, November 10. Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA.
