Adabraka CYO’s quest to qualify to the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I is on course after sealing a second straight win in this season’s Division II.

CYO beat Tudu Galaxy 53-49 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the final game of the Week Two which commenced on Friday, October 26.

The loss is Galaxy’s second in as many games but after missing out on qualification last season, CYO’s latest win keeps them at the summit of the standings.

For the second straight game, a poor start cost Galaxy a win as the side trailed 14-34 at the end of the first half in a 51-59 loss to Novas Academy in the first game.

Galaxy Guard Raymond Affram made a steal to score a layup in a quarter CYO scored much of its 14 points in the paint. Galaxy trailed 5-14 at the end of the quarter.

Galaxy fared better in the second quarter particularly on offense reducing its five points (18-23) but CYO kept a steady offense to clinch the win.
