Ghana’s Female 3×3 Basketball Team will feature in the FIBA African 3×3 Championship from November 9-11 in Lome, Togo.
The team qualified from the zonal competition held in September in Cotonou, Benin and will face 11 nations in the continental division.
Ahead of the tournament, the team has been putting in work to get in shape by participating in the FNB-Togo 3×3 Challenge.
The Challenge started on Friday, October 26 in Togo and ends later tonight with Ghana competing against West African neighbours Benin and host nation, Togo.
Benin and Togo will participate in next month’s competition and the ongoing tournament is a unique opportunity for the countries preparations.
Reports reaching Basketballghana.com indicate Ghana lost a game and won two on the first day of competing in Togo.
The tournament ends tonight with the team expected to play two more games. Ghana’s Male side travelled to Lome and played two games yesterday losing one and winning one.
However, Ghana’s Male Team missed out on qualification to the main Championship.
