Naa Allotey and Elvis Pobi-Siaw are the new faces on Ghana’s 3×3 Basketball Teams following their call ups ahead of the FNB-Togo 3×3 Basketball Challenge.

The competition starts today and ends on Saturday, October 27 in Lome, Togo with Ghana, host nation Togo and Benin participating.

Ghana’s contingent is filled with returning players from the team’s participating in the FIBA 3×3 Zone 3 Championship in Cotonou, Benin a few months back.

In the Male team, Benjamin Debrah, Godwin Tetteh and David Maja reprise their roles while Shooting Guard Elvis Pobi-Siaw checks in as the relative newcomer to the roster.

In the Female team, Balkisu Saleem and Zenabu Mohammed retain their spots and have been joined by fellow Ghana Police Service player Mavis Matey. Naa Allotey joins Matey as the relative

Ghana’s Female side has qualified to participate in the African Championship from November 9-11 in Togo with 11 other nations. The FNB-Togo Challenge serves as a preparatory grounds ahead of the competition.

The Male side missed out on qualification; Pobi-Siaw featured for Ghana Police in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I last season.
