Facing elimination, Stars and Heat recorded 51-33 and 56-33 wins over Teshie Vikings and Teshie Rangers over the past weekend.
Both top seeds were shocked in Game One of the playoffs on October 14 with the Teshie duo walking away with 36-33 and 46-36 wins respectively.
The final game in the series will determine which teams progress to the next round of the competition; Game 3 is on Sunday, October 28 at Tema Community 4’s Court.
While Hat and Francophone celebrated extending their stay in the postseason, Nungua Coldstore and Tema Community 2 celebrated qualification to the next round.
Both teams sealed second straight wins over Akatsi Rifles and Tema Community 4 respectively this past weekend with the latter coming as a shock to many.
Coldstore beat Rifles 89-59 and Community knocked out 2017 winners Tema Community 4 with a 40-38 win after winning Game One 33-27.
