The opening week of games in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II has come to a close at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
Three games formed the latter group of games after two fixtures were honored at the league venue on Friday October 19.
However, Swanlakers lost 50-53 to Ada Knights, Adabraka CYO topped Teshie Rangers 71-50 in the second game and Junior Reformers piped Adenta Tusk in the final game of Week One.
Swanlakers, CYO and Reformers join Dunk Knights and Novas Academy who triumphed on Friday with respective wins over Panthers and Tudu Galaxy.
Ten teams are competing in this season’s division for places in the Division I next season; the elite division concluded little over a week over with Braves of Customs winning the title.
Competition in Division II continues later this week as the winning teams on opening day’ Dunk and Novas square off on Friday October 26 at 18:00 GMT.
Galaxy and CYO will feature in the last game of Week 2 on October 22.
