Novas Academy topped Tudu Galaxy 58-51 as Dunk Knights piped Panthers 60-59 in exciting games at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu to open the season.
Later tonight at the same venue, Swanlakers take on Ada Knights at 16:00 GMT before Adabraka CYO plays Teshie Rangers in the follow up game.
Swanlakers and Knights matchup features two teams who did not feature in the division last season and fans will get the chance to see what both sides have to offer in the campaign.
Rangers and CYO are known sides in the league and beyond as both teams played in the CAP 7 Memorial Tournament in September. CYO placed fourth in the competition.
Both teams also went close to securing a spot in the Division I last season and this matchup could go a long way to decide which team qualifies this time around.
