The 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II tips off later tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with competition in Division I in the bag.

Home side Tudu Galaxy will be in action in the opening game against Novas Academy at 18:00 GMT in the first of two meetings between the clubs.

That matchup will be followed by Panthers game against Dunk Knights with Panthers heavily tipped to clinch the game’s win.

Swanlakers and Ada Knights play on Saturday, October 20 at 16:00 GMT before Teshie Rangers take on Adabraka CYO at 17:30 GMT at the same venue.

Rangers, CYO and Panthers represent the top three sides in last season’s standings to miss out on qualification to the Division I.

Those spots were occupied by Reformers of Prisons, Ghana Police Service and Navy Warriors; Police ended its run in Division in fourth place.

With veteran players underpinning its rosters, Rangers and Panthers are heavily tipped to be among the promoted teams at the end of the campaign.
