Ghana Small Forward Reggie Agbeko has been released from Danish Basketball League side Bakken Bears according to reports reaching Basketballghana.com
The 6 foot 7 inch player featured prominently in Bakken’s run to last season’s league final where the side lost out to rival Horsens IC.
Agbeko, Shannon Hale and Derrick Wilson headlined an extensive list of movement out of the club following last season’s finals run.
The likes of Lawrence Alexander, Christian Landberg and Christian Benzon have also been let go by the Danish giant club.
Agbeko’s journey started at the Hoops Care International branch in Ghana’s Central regional capital, Cape-Coast before moving to the United States.
He played for St. Louis University Bilikens for four years before signing his first professional contract in Denmark after graduating.
Agbeko’s next move is yet to be known but his former club has been busy competing in the new season where it is tied at the top with Bakken.
Both teams have won three games in as many appearances thus far in the campaign.
