Chiefs Basketball Academy Coach Benjamin Sarpong has expressed his deep appreciation for USA based trainer Allon Freiman’s support of the Academy.

He made the statement in an exclusive interview with Basketballghana.com after the latest round of donation from the Home Court Hoops Coach.

After donating 10 balls to the Kumasi-based academy in 2014, Freiman doubled his effort a few days ago during a basketball clinic he headlined.

Chiefs received three sets of Jordan branded jerseys, training bibs and jerseys for the Under 12 team, five balls and 12 whistles.

Speaking to Ghana’s most popular basketball portal, Sarpong raved about Freiman’s philanthropic ways to Chiefs stating:

“We became friends after meeting him at FIBA’s Young Coaches Module 1 Course in Accra in 2010 and after watching what I’m doing with my boys on social media, it pushed him to come and donate the little he has. He is basketball, he loves the game and anything basketball he supports it”.

Chiefs play in the Kumasi Basketball League.
