Chiefs Basketball Academy has received a sizable donation from USA based Basketball Coach Allon Freiman of Home Court Hoops.

The philanthropic gesture took place in Ghana’s capital Kumasi recently with Chiefs set to benefit enormously going forward.

Items received included three sets of Jordan branded jerseys for the main team, training bibs and jerseys for the Under 12 team.

Basketballghana.com gathers five balls and 12 sets of whistles were also donated by the Home Court Hoops Coach to Chiefs.

It follows up on similar donations made in 2014 where several balls were donated on that occasion and comes at a time Chiefs had several players participate in the just ended Giants of Africa Camp held in Prestea.

Chiefs Coach Benjamin Sarpong was on hand to accept the gifts and was very appreciative of Freiman’s continued support to the academy but welcomed similar acts to help the academy’s numerous activities.

Chiefs won the Development Award at the 2016 Ghana Basketball Awards and is participating in the Kumasi Basketball League.
