Ghana Forward Ben Bentil recorded his second straight double digit mark in points for new side Peristeri SG in the Greek League over the weekend.
Bentil scored 13 points in his side’s 76-73 win over Promitheas in the Week 2 of the 2018-2019 season; Bentil scored 16 points in the opening round.
The former Boston Celtics draftee converted four of eight attempts from the field and one of four attempts from three point range in the game.
The 6 foot 8 inch player added two blocks and four rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench as the newly promoted side earned its second win in as many games.
Bentil has had an encouraging start to life in Greece after signing in early September following his rejection of Milwaukee Bucks training camp invitation.
The Sekondi-born player made similar good starts for Champagne Chalons Reims and Bilbao Athletic in the French and Spanish top flights respectively.
However, his form deteriorated later in his stay before signing for Persiteri.
