Ghana Forward Ben Bentil will be in action later today in the Greek A 1 Basketball League as his side Peristeri GS takes on Promitheas.

The game is one of seven games listed to be honored today in Week 2 of the 20018-2019 season with the matchup featuring the sixth and seventh teams in the standings respectively.

Peristeri clinched an 83-80 win over AEK Athens in the opening round while Prometheas run out with a comfortable 83-68 win playing at Kolossos HH’s home arena.

Bentil starred in his first official for his new side after signing with the newly promoted side in September; he turned down an invitation to Milwaukee Bucks training camp.

The first Ghana born player to be drafted into the NBA and play in the NBA registered 16 points and two rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench.

A win tonight extends Peristeri’s winning run to two in the very young season. Former Cleveland Cavaliers Coach David Blatt’s Olympiacos is third in the standings and takes on second placed Kymis in another tough matchup.
