WaterPark Sports Chief Executive Officer and Founder Dennis Boateng has expressed his company’s desire to build on basketball passion in Ghana.
He made the statement in an interview on basketball show “Courtside” which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports in connection to the start of the Dynamics School League (DSL).
The DSL second season is scheduled to tip off later this month after a successful maiden edition which had the likes of Alpha Beta School winning.
WaterPark is a partner of the league supplying participating teams with basketball apparel as it has done for several institutions in recent years.
Quizzed on the reason behind his firm’s reason for partnering with DSL, Boateng pointed to the league’s aim to develop young players in Ghana.
“WaterPark wants to build on the passion for basketball and that is why we are working with the DSL” he said. Boateng doubles as Captain of Accra Basketball League side DC Dynamics.
Dynamics League is exclusively for players in Junior High Schools and household names like St. Martin De Porres School participated in the first edition.
