Giants of Africa (GOA) Local Coordinator Neequaye Kotei has made an appearance on basketball televisions show “Courtside” which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports.

His appearance comes ahead of the Not for Profit Organization’s third camp in Ghana which takes place from October 12-14 in Prestea.

In prior editions, the camp has been organized in Ghana’s capital, Accra but this year’s edition will be held in the West African nation’s prime mining town Prestea.

A multipurpose recreational facility which boasts a newly built basketball court will host 54 young players selected from several locations in the country.

Mining firm Golden Star Resources is partnering GOA for the event which has been held in other African countries over the years.

Kotei stated the need to have such events in Ghana as an avenue to develop young talents in the football dominant country.

Toronto Raptors Manager Masai Ujiri is the founder of Giants of Africa which aims to transform young Africans into “inspired, mission-driven leaders”.
