Ghana Fire Service will be in action on Saturday, October 6 in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division against Ghana Police Service at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The game is the first fixture for both teams since the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament ended on September 22 at the aforementioned location.
Police won the competition beating Braves of Customs 39-27 in the final game and also leads the league with an unbeaten record in nine games.
The league leaders have been in supreme shape this season and three members qualified Ghana to the African 3×3 Championship to be held in November.
On the other hand, Fire Service is need of a big win after a great start to the second round of the 2018 league campaign.
Fire clinched a 46-32 win over perennial league winners Braves a few weeks back but failed to win a game in the CAP 7 Tournament.
Beating Police is sure to be a big win for the side and a route back into the top half of the six team standings.
