The final hours of the 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup are upon us with tomorrow’s final round of games close by in Tenerife, Spain.

The semifinal games will determine which teams’ progress to the final game as four teams prepare to play later today.

Defending Champions and five time winners USA takes on surprise package Belgium in the first semifinal game with the US heavily tipped to progress.

Host nation Spain plays Australia in the last semifinal game with the Liz Cambage led Opals yet to lose a game in the competition.

Spain had to beat Senegal to qualify to the quarter finals where an 86-65 win over fellow European nation France sealed its semifinal spot.

Prior to the semis, a pair of classification games will be played with African Champions Nigeria involved in a clash with France.

Nigeria made history by becoming the first African nation to mke the World Cup quarterfinals after beating Greece 57-56.

However, D’Tigress came out unstuck against USA losing 40-71. China and Canada face off in the other classification game.
