Ghana Police Service Female Basketball Team has set its sights on annexing the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division title.
The team has won two trophies thus far in the 2018 campaign and is looking forward to adding a third title to the haul by winning the league.
Police made this known in an interview on basketball television program “Courtside” which airs on Ghana channel Kwese Free Sports.
Police won its first trophy this year by winning the Cowbell After 7 Afahy3 Tournament held at the University of Cape-Coast arena.
The team followed it up with a splendid display in the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament which ended in a title win via a 39-27 victory over Braves of Customs.
Police leads the ABL with 18 points from winning all nine games played this season and has a game in hand to play. Braves are second with 16 points.
The Police contingent who included CAP 7 MVP Georgina Ntow was led by Chief Inspector Antwi and Assistant Coach Sergeant Sassou.
