Senegal takes on China at 14:00 GMT in a winner takes all game that decides which team joins USA in the quarterfinals from Group D.

Senegal survived a close matchup to beat Latvia 70-69 with lead scorer Astou Traore scoring 19 points in the win.

Both nations are tied on three points but China holds a goals advantage over the West African nation heading to the game.

Nigeria recently registered its maiden World Cup win via a 74-68 win over Turkey on Sunday and needs another win to make the knockout stage.

That would be Nigeria’s first foray into the latter stages of the world event it last featured in 2006. The likes of Spain, USA, and Australia have sealed qualification to the quarterfinals.
