Ghana Police Service won the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament and had three players selected to the Tournament’s Best Five.

Police beat Braves 39-27 to win the maiden edition of the competition without a loss and key members of the side were rewarded for their performances.

Most Valuable Player of the competition Georgina Ntow headlined the group which had two players from Braves of Customs.

Balkisu Saleem and Point Guard Mavis Mantey completed Police’s presence on the team reflective of the team’s dominance in the competition.

Saleem and Ntow represented Ghana at the 3×3 Zonal competition held in Benin earlier this year and are in line to feature for the nation West African nation at the continental games in November.

Former Ghana Basketball Awards Most Valuable Player winner Matilda Gordon and Gloria Gyampoh represented beaten finalist Braves.

Gordon played the first half of the final but injured her knee few minutes into the third quarter and played no further part in the game.
