The 2018-2018 season tips off on October 16 and teams are preparing by shaping rosters for upcoming preseason games later this month.
Bentil became the first Ghana born player to feature in an NBA game after signing a ten day contract with Dallas Mavericks. He played three games including his cameo appearance against Atlanta Hawks.
He played for Charlons Reims in France and ended last season with RetaBet Bilbao Basket in Spain’s top flight after a brief stint in China.
Boston Celtics picked the Sekondi-born 6 foot 8 inch player 51st in the Draft two seasons ago after a standout run with Providence College.
Bentil played for San Antonio Spurs in last year’s NBA Summer League before suiting up for NBA’s development side Fort Wayne Mad Ants in the Gatorade League registering 12.1 points and 4.6 rebounds in 2 minutes per game.
