Braves of Customs take on Tudu Galaxy in the final CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament semifinal game at 15:00 GMT today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The winner progresses to the final game where it faces Ghana Police Service for the chance to win the tournament’s maiden edition’s title.
Police recorded a 31-18 win over Reformers of Prisons in the first semifinal game played last night continuing the former’s outstanding 2018 campaign.
Braves head into the fixture as favorite given its unbeaten record in two games played and the dominant wins recorded doing so.
Customs hammered Dunk Knights 71-16 and Reformers 49-19 in the previous matchups while Galaxy lost 21-35 to Police.
A closely fought 34-30 win over Ghana Fire Service proved enough to send them through to the semifinals in front of its home fans.
Braves are under pressure to win the tournament after enduring an underwhelming league campaign so far. The competition is being held in honour of former Customs Sports Director Benjamin Baafi who doubled as ABL Chairman before passing away.
