CYO recorded a 53-49 win over Icons in the final game on Day 6 round of fixtures played out at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The first matchup had Reformers of Prisons deliver a 51-8 win over Dunk Knights in the Women’s Division to set up a semifinal clash against Ghana Police Service.
Icons and CYO had a loss and win in two appearances in the competition and another win were needed to promote either side to the next stage.
CYO got the win ahead of the much fancied Icons who have Ghana’s National 3×3 Team Coordinator James Ocloo on board.
As a result, CYO joins Adenta Leopards and Navy Warriors in the semis which take place tomorrow. The final semifinal spot will be decided tonight between Teshie Rangers and Tema Youth.
CAP 7 ends on Saturday, September 22.
