Tudu Galaxy’s contingent in the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament got mixed results on the fifth day of competition at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
In the Women’s Division, Galaxy was triumphant beating Ghana Fire Service 38-34 in a positive display after suffering a 35-21 loss to Ghana Police Service.
The win was enough to get Galaxy a semifinal spot joining already qualified Ghana Police and Braves of Customs for the chance to battle for the title.
Dunk Knights and Reformers of Prisons will play for the chance to join them later tonight at 16:00 GMT in one of two games to mark Day 6.
In the Male Division, a feisty matchup ensued between Galaxy and high flying Navy Warriors last night and ended in the latter winning 34-30.
The loss knocked Galaxy out of contention for a semifinal spot and title shot; Warriors made it three wins in three games.
CAP 7 ends on Saturday, September 20 and has put together to honour former ABL Chair Benjamin Baafi.
