The entire roster of the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division will compete in the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament Basketballghana.com can confirm.

Six teams will play in the Women’s Division of the competition to be held in honour of ex ABL and Greater Accra Basketball Association Chairman Benjamin Baafi.

Eight teams will feature in the Male Division with the likes of home side Tudu Galaxy, Tema Youth and Teshie Rangers competing.

Ghana Police Service leads the ABL Women’s Division with 18 points from winning all nine games played so far this season.

Police will play in the opening game against Ghana Fire Service at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with the game tipping off at 16:00 GMT.

Aside the duo mentioned above, Braves of Customs, Dunk Knights, Reformers of Prisons and Galaxy will participate in the competition.

All games will be played at Lebanon House and the tournament runs from September 14 to September; this is the maiden edition of the competition.
