Ghana Police Service takes on Ghana Fire Service in the opening game at 16:00 GMT with the Accra Basketball League (ABL) rivals clashing in the Women’s Division.
Police leads the league with 18 points from winning all nine games in the division, Fire Service has 15 points from winning six of nine games.
The second game has Tema Youth coming up against Navy Warriors immediately after the ladies games; Tema and Warriors played out an exciting game the last time the sides clashed in the ABL Men’s Division I.
With just five players and no substitutes, Tema battled from a 10 point deficit to beat Navy 66-64 in one of the best games in the 2018 season.
The top matchups tip off a 13 day competition which runs from Friday September 13-22 with 14 teams overall competing. The best team is slated to win 1000 Ghana Cedis.
