Braves of Customs Female Team is one of six teams set to compete in the CAP 7 Memorial Basketball Tournament this week.
Braves will be in action on Saturday September 15 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu against Reformers of Prisons at 15:00 GMT. The competition tips off a day earlier.
The CAP 7 tournament has been put together in honour of former Accra Basketball League (ABL) Chairman Benjamin Baafi.
Baafi served as ABL and Greater Accra Basketball Association Chairman and Braves mother body-Ghana Revenue Authority’s- Sports Manager.
The man popularly known as “Capito” managed Braves Male and Female teams in the ABL to great sustained success with multiple trophies to show for.
Braves have featured prominently in international competitions over the past couple of years in Kenya and last year’s FIBA Club Championship Zone B.
CAP 7 runs to September 22 and eight teams competing in the Male Division with the likes of Teshie Rangers and Tudu Galaxy competing.
