The teams were involved in matchups in the returning ABL at the Prisons Court in Cantonments played last night in the league’s top divisions respectively.
Galaxy featured in the Women’s Division against Dunk Knights and ended up with a 29-11 win for its second victory in the 2018 season.
The win in the closely contested game improves Galaxy’s point tally to 13 points and two behind closest rival Ghana Fire Service.
Dunk Knights occupy the lowest spot in the standings with Galaxy a position above and Fire in fourth place; Ghana Police Service leads the league with 18 points from winning all nine games played so far.
Unfortunately for Magic, Prisons proved too strong and walked away with a 58-55 win in the Men’s Division I matchup between the teams.
Grabbing the win marks a good return to action for Reformers who were absent for long periods in previous rounds but represents Magic’s eighth loss in 14 games.
As a result, the team has played the fewest games in the division (12).
