Dunk-Galaxy, Magic-Reformers to play at Prisons tonight

Fans of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) will be hoping for great weather later tonight at the Prisons Court in Cantonments where league games are scheduled to be played.

The league has been on an extensive break for reasons bothering on weather and invitational competition requirements in recent weeks.

Tudu Galaxy will be in action in the opening game against Dunk Club at 18:00 GMT in the Women’s Division with both teams in the bottom two spots in the division standings.

Galaxy and Dunk have just a win to show for in nine games this season resulting in 10 points; Dunk ranks as the worst side in the six team standings due to a worse goal difference than Galaxy.

In the Men’s Division I, home side Reformers take on Tudu Magic after the Galaxy-Dunk tie and both teams face the same need to clinch a win.

Prisons have played the least games in the division (11) and that has affected the team’s position in the nine team standings.

Reformers is eighth and only above DC Dynamics.
