The 2018-2019 Tunisian Basketball League will commence later this month with a starting September 29 date scheduled Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The start date will have all 12 teams in the league compete in the opening round with defending champions ES Rades in action.
Rades take on Dalia Sportive de Grombalia (DSG) in the first game of the new season with the latter side set to hand a debut appearance to Ivorian International Center Romeo Enan.
The highly rated defender played for JS Manazeh in his first season in Tunisia following his move from Kwara Falcons in the Kwese Nigerian Premier League.
Enan has previously featured in Ghana’s Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division I for dominant side Braves of Customs.
The 6 foot 9 inch player helped lead Accra Technical University to the Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Championship in 2015 and was named Tertiary Player of the Year in 2015 at the Ghana Basketball Awards.
