Despite the influx of teams in the 2018 Tema Community Basketball League, the top hierarchy remains unchanged from the previous season.
Nungua Coldstore, Tema Community 4, Tema Heat and Ashaiman Lions remain in the top spots mere weeks ahead of the playoffs.
The quartet made the deepest runs in the 2017 postseason with Community 4 coming out on top of the pile for its first title.
C4 beat Lions who fell for the second time in the finals; in 2016, Lions lost out on the title to Nungua Coldstore in the league’s maiden edition.
Heat piped Coldstore to third place to claim the bronze medal in an improved campaign for the side; Nungua settled for fourth place.
Following release of the latest rankings, Coldstore leads the 10 team league with 14 wins in 15 games with Community 4 in second place with 10 wins in 16 games.
Lions have 10 wins in 15 games in third place and Heat have nine wins in 15 games. With the exception of Heat, the remaining members of the quartet lost this past weekend.
