Braves of Customs are feeling the heat from Reformers of Prisons in the latest Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division standings.
Reformers are just a point behind the defending league champions following a 54-52 win over the latter in its last league appearance.
The last round of games was disrupted by a mix of schedule conflict and weather problems limited competition to just a fixture in each division.
The win gives Reformers 15 points from winning six of nine games played this season and in third place while Braves maintain its second spot behind leaders Ghana Police Service.
Braves record falls to six wins in 10 games and 16 points; Braves have already lost twice to Police and to Ghana Fire Service in the second round.
A win for Prisons will take them above Braves into second place and despite playing nine games Police has 18 points from winning all nine fixtures.
Dunk and Tudu Galaxy occupy the bottom spots in the standings. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
