Ghana Teams ball out in 3×3 Tourney in Togo

Two teams represented Ghana at the Tournoi 3×3 Des Aiglons Competition in Lome, Togo over the weekend; the one day 3×3 Basketball tournament is one of many lined up this year.

The teams-Icons Club and Coast2 Coast- featured in the tournament and the latter ended up placing third in the nine team competition.

Coast2 Coast clinched a 22-14 win over TNT Bis of Togo and proceeded to score a 13-8 win over La Puissance also from Togo.

Coast2Coast’s third win in the tournament was earned without sweat as the team scored a walkover victory over OBC from Togo.

Icons and Coast2Coast squared off in an all Ghana affair which ended in a 16-14 win for Icons; Icons placed second overall in the tournament.

TNT placed first with three wins in four games; Ghana’s contingent also registered three wins in four games away from home. La Puissant placed fourth to round up the top quartet.

Elvis Pobi-Siaw, Benjamin Mensah, Prosper Dorsu and Samuel Abbey represented Icons while David Maja, Godwin Tetteh, Desmond Cobblah and Benjamin Debrah represented Coast2Coast.
