Two games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) were planned to be honored at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu earlier tonight.
Reformers of Prisons were set to play defending league champions Braves of Customs in the opening game before DC Dynamics matchup against Tudu Magic.
However, neither game took place due to the latest postponement; unlike previous called off games, this wasn’t as a result of rain.
Failure to structure games to avoid clashing with Ghana’s elite Volleyball League which is played at the same venue meant fixtures in both disciplines were bound to be played at the same time.
Due to the proximity of the respective playing surfaces, having both games simultaneously comes with a lot of challenges forcing league officials to call off the ABL games.
The first of two games had a scheduled tip off 16:00 GMT time to be immediately followed by the final game. However, a late jump ball would have avoided the clash.
Games on Friday involving Tema Youth were called off due to rain.
