Ghana recently wrapped up participation in the FIBA 3X3 Zone 3 Championship held in the past week in Benin’s capital, Cotonou.

While Ghana missed out on qualification to the main African tourney, it impressed at the event leading to an improved rank of 94th and 13th on the World and African standings respectively.

Due to their engagement with the national team, most members of the playing unit were not present for their club games in the Accra Basketball League (ABL).

With the exception of Ghana Police Service Guard Benjamin Debrah who featured in his team’s win over Reformers of Prisons, the remaining members whose teams were in action could not play.

Desmond Cobblah was not involved in Tudu Magic’s 45-77 loss to Braves of Customs just as David Maja missed DC Dynamics 51-61 loss to Adenta Leopards.

In the female team, Tudu Galaxy Forward Naa Shika Moffat did not feature in her side’s 40-50 loss to Reformers of Prisons.

Members of Police’s Female side were spared from the misses as the ABL Female division leaders were not in action last week.
