Basketballghana.com can confirm Ghana is ranked 94th on the latest FIBA World 3×3 Basketball standings as a Federation.
The rank was accorded to Ghana following an accumulation of points from the Male and Female teams respectively over a period.
The rankings come on the back of the West African nation’s participation in the just ended Zone 3 African Championship in Cotonou, Benin.
Per the Combined rankings, Ghana is ranked 94th in the World and 13th on the African continent following its exploits in Benin despite its Male side failing to clinch a spot at the main Championship due to be held in Lome, Togo from November 9-11.
In the Male Division rankings exclusively, Ghana’s tumbles to 119 in the world and 22nd in Africa behind the likes of Guinea.
In the Female Division exclusively, Ghana is ranked 82nd in the world and 11th in Africa signaling bigger prospects for the historically underfunded contingent from the country.
China, Russia and Ukraine make up the top three nations in the combined World Standings.
