Tema Community 4’s Basketball Camp is close to the end following four days of rigorous but fun filled activities with young individuals.
Organized by members of the Community’s senior basketball team, the camp aims to equip the youth with fundamental skills necessary to the development of players.
Activities began earlier this week on Monday, August 13 and are set to end tomorrow Friday August 17 at the Chinese Court.
Areas on ball handling, dribbling, shooting and overall coordination with health tips on correct dieting and avoiding substance abuse.
Through four days of the camp, turnout has been high among participants as young as four from different locations in Ghana’s Harbor City.
Community 4 won the 2017 Tema Community Basketball League in 2017 and its Junior side won the Under 19 version.
Members of the winning team including Shooting Guard Kent Fosu are headlining the program with support from Tema League Coordinator Sandy Asiedu.
The 2018 Tema League season is a few weeks from the start of the post season.
