Following a lengthy absence from the Accra Basketball League (ABL), Reformers of Prisons get back to competing in Ghana’s premier club basketball league.
The outfit’s Female Team will be in action against Tudu Galaxy in the first of two games scheduled for tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.
The tie tips off at 18:00 GMT and will be followed by a game in the Men’s Division I between Ghana Fire Service and Navy Warriors.
Due to administrative reasons, Prisons teams in the league were held back to allow the group’s top hierarchy see out the bottle necks.
Word reaching Basketballghana.com indicates such hiccups have been cleared paving the way for Reformers to see out the remaining games in the regular season in both divisions.
In the club’s absence, Ghana Police Service stretched its lead atop the standings to three points (18) ahead of close rival and defending league champion Braves of Customs.
Prisons rank third in the standings with 11 points from winning four of seven games.
