Basketball Youth Camps from big names in the Ghanaian circles will commence today at Legon and Tema Community 4 respectively in Ghana’s capital, Accra.
The University of Ghana (UG) Basketball Camp starts today and is expected to end on August 24 at Ghana’s premier university.
Participants will be taken through several basketball drills by experienced UG Coaches Eric Ankamah and Dr. Baba Samori.
Reports indicate members of the all conquering UG Male Basketball Team will play key roles in the 11 day tune up for young players.
UG has won three straight Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championships since 2016 and a couple of GUSA titles.
At the Tema Community 4 Court popularly known as the Chinese Court, Community 4’s Basketball Team will take charge of a five day workout session with young players.
Participants aged between 12 and 17 will be put through the paces of the sport by coaches and team members of the 2017 Tema Community Basketball League Champions.
The program ends on Friday August 17.
