Ghana Center Amida Brimah is in line to play in the Jim Calhoun Charity Game at the Mohegan Sun Arena this weekend.
The charity game has become popularly known over the years as the University of Connecticut Basketball Family All Star Game.
The game is played every two years and will be Brimah’s first since graduating from the program in 2017 after helping the Huskies win the 2014 National Championship.
Brimah is set to join other famed products of the college like Ray Allen and Rudy Gay play in this year’s matchup with the proceeds heading to charity.
Allen is a two time NBA Champion who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on September 8 after a distinguished career with Boston Celtics and Miami Heat.
Gay is heading to his 13th year in the league and has won two World Cups with United States of America in 2010 and 2014.
Brimah is on San Antonio Spurs team ahead of the preseason with Gay.
