Braves of Customs have dropped further behind Ghana Police Service in the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Women’s Division standings.
This follows results from games in the latest round played over this past weekend at the Prisons Court in Cantonments which Braves coming up short.
The defending league champions lost 32-46 to Ghana Fire Service in the first game of the round; this was Customs third loss of the season.
After recording back to back losses to Police, Braves fell rather surprisingly to Fire who went into the game ranked fourth in the six team standings with Braves in second place.
Due to the loss and Police’s 74-15 win over Dunk Academy, Braves trails Police by three points; Police 16 points from winning all eight played this season.
Customs have 15 points from winning five of eight games and are just two points ahead of third placed Reformers of Prisons.
Fire Service is tied on points with Reformers but has an lower goal difference compared to Reformers; Dunk is tied with bottom ranked Galaxy on eight points.
However, Galaxy has a game in hand. Below is a full breakdown of the standings:
